    SPTD File Crashes Windows 7

Everytime I install SPTD on my laptop I get a blue screen and I have to recover my system. I know that the SPTD file is associated with Alcohol 120% which is my burning software. So far DuplexSecure and Alcohol Tech support have been less than helpful in finding a solution to the problem. IF anyone knows a solution other than removing the SPTD file it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Personally, If I know the cause of a problem, I resolve... If Alcohol 120% is the problem, find another program.. just my opinion though...

Well one thing is certain, your wisdom has been of great assistance. Thank you so much. The problem with "finding another program" is I bought Alcohol and they are fighting with me on giving me a full refund.

If you would rather put up with an unstable system while you try for a refund, fine...the choice is up to you...

I was hoping that someone might have some insight to an actual solution. Obviously that person is not you, but thank you so much for wasting my time.

With your attitude, I wish you luck... Im not trying to ruffle your feathers, but you obviously know that Alcohol is your problem... There is no unwritten law that states that you have to keep it installed while you try to obtain a refund... There are many alternative programs ... some of them free ... that will serve you well.... with that said, Im 10-7...

Nor is it and DuplexSecure and Alcohol Tech support. While I can understand your frustration, this is no way to be and it will only serve to drive others away.

Unfortunately a lot of companies sell software that isn't compatible with Windows 7 despite the claims otherwise made. I would suggest you visit the forums of the problematic software and see what users there have to say.

    Good luck.

the latest SPTD is perfectly compatible with windows 7, so any causes of bluescreens exists within your own specific configuration.
