    Deskjet 3900

I am trying to install a shared Deskjet 3900 over a network with no success. I can see it but Windows 7 refuses to load the driver because it is not connected to the local computer. Any ideas on how to make this work? HP does not offer a driver as it says that they are a part of Windows 7.

    Thanks

Take a look at this quick demo on setting up a printer on a shared network. Share a printer. Does HP have Vista drivers available? If so, give them a try as sometimes they will do the trick with Windows 7 as well.

    Deskjet 3930

I am computer A with Windows 7. I have no attached printers. I am trying to use the shared USB printer Deskjet 3900 on computer B. Since I can't mmake a direct connection via the USB port Windows7 will not look for the drivers. HP says that the Vista and Windows 7 drivers are all in one package.
