    Gateway MX6030 (Intel® 852GM/855GM)

I'm aware of another user having this problem, but none of the solutions worked.
I "accidently" corrupted the Windows xp on my mom's laptop. It was sitting in the dust for around 6 months before I decided to install Windows 7. When I showed my mom, her face lit up with joy, I was fine, untill I was asked to change the color.
Windows told me that I needed a driver. So I downloaded the xp driver from gateway, and tried to install it, Well, everything went well, Untill I restarted the computer.

THEN the driver un-installed automaticly! That made me furious, so I tried again, same result, and it happens every time! So, I went into the devce manager right after I installed the driver, and guess what little text I found there?

    This device is working properly.
The drivers for this device will be uninstalled when the machine is restarted. Any changes you make to this device will not be preserved.
You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this device will take effect.

Ok, when I saw that, I just got up, and left it, for the rest of the day, because I was ticked.

Today, I decided to post this here. Hopefully someone fixes my problem.
