hi guys. I am running a dual boot setup from win 64 to Win7. When I installed Win 7, did my drivers from vista install into windows 7?
No they wouldn't there. For each new copy of Windows regardless of which version or edition even a second of the same you need to install all drivers fresh. You are working with a brand new system registry there needing to see new entries created as well.

The advantage if that is the 64bit 7 as well as the Vista installation and you saved Vista updates locally is that most will go right on 7 as well. Both Vista and 7 are close in compatibility allowing for this.

So should I just run the program without importing any Drivers from win 64 and let Driver Max find everything automatically?

Once connected online and Windows is activated you can go into the Control Panel>Windows update there and allow the update scan to find most latest driver versions as well as any available updates for things like Windows Defender, Silverlight and look at the optional software and hardware items there.

That usually works out for a good number of people when having problems locating any updates for a particular item even the main board it seems! When Vista was first out the support site at the board manufacturer only saw XP driver updates there.

Later the Windows update located the Vista equivalents at nvidia.com for the board controllers plus an addon tuner card used here. The board drivers where the big thing at that time and found by the MS updates. That can be a real asset at times!

Well I did what you suggested Night Hawk and much to my dismay it did not work. When I clicked on software center from the ATT help yahoo page that I was signed into this is where I was sent http://att.software.yahoo.com/ysftc/p/att/choice and the page came up blank. I checked all my setting as well as java and adobe and all seem to be working. Thanks again for trying to help

That's the problem! I run into that on occasion using any imposed search engine. For ATI simply go direct to the ATI.AMD support site. Graphics Drivers & Software

You'll notice that there's now a regular Windows 7 option as well as for Vista and XP. You can always tell wnen the next version of Windows is near completion when seeing it added into the regular support pages!

Well I'm glad to hear that. It saves a lot of time when you have to direct link to the selection page seen there for choosing the version of Windows you are running and then bringing you right to the download page itself. :)
