    ATI Sleep Grey Screen


    So I want to be able to go into standby on my Windows 7 x64 desktop, but I cant resume without it crashing.

    Any ideas? Specs Below

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    RAM: 8GB G.Skill
    Mobo: Gigabyte EX38-DS4
    Video: ATI HD 5770
    Hard Drives: 500GB Raid1, 2x 1TB

    I get grey screen sometimes after turning my monitor off for a long period. It might be windows TDR causing it.

    Well its like a grey screen of death, has error codes and such.

My sony Vaio Z running windows 7 x 64 has suddenly gone to a screen with a shade of grey on all programmes, with less brilliance but a super luminescent cursor arrow or hand. Any comments for a cure, to get back to normal?? Thanks in advance

Hi. When I start my windows 7 computor it goes perfect until I've logged in. When I'm supposed to see the desktop I can only see my mouse-pointer on a grey background..... Not even CTRL+ALT+DEL works...... Any suggestions? The windows came with the computor so it should work.... and...

Hey everyone, if this is in the wrong section, I apologize! Last week I updated my windows vista computer to Windows 7 Home Premium. Since doing this my screen every so often would randomly flash grey for 1 second. This has continued all week up until yesterday when it flashed more frequently....
