Well, I tried the Drivers from the Nvidia website, but it doesn't work.
I guess my graphic card is 8400M, there is a function that provided by the Nvidia website, which is the scanning system.
The following message is the result of that scanning system:
The manufacturer of this system requires that you download the driver for your GPU from their support site.

The GeForce M series and GeForce Go series notebook GPUs use drivers that have been customized by the notebook manufacturers to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior. NVIDIA has worked with some notebook manufacturers to provide notebook-specific driver updates, however, most notebook driver updates must come from the notebook manufacturer. Additionally, the desktop GeForce graphics drivers will not install on Geforce M series and Quadro M series notebook GPU's.

If you don't know the specific version of your video card, you need to find out. Also, make sure that you're downloading the correct version of the NVIDIA drivers (32/64 BIT)

Speccy will allow you to find out the exact model numbers of all your internal hardware including your video card. Just download the program, install it and run it.

Thanks for the help from the above. I tried all the suggestion, but I still got stuck on the driver problem of my notebook.

    1. I pretty sure my Graphic Card model is NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU

    2. I tried to ask for the Nvidia online help, the answer that I got is: NVIDIA manufactures only chipsets for desktops and laptops graphics cards. NVIDIA provides mobile GeForce and Quadro GPUs to laptop and notebook manufacturers only. So, Laptop graphic drivers are custom made for the laptop make and model they are used in.

    3. Is there anyone know what is my laptop graphic drivers is?
My computer model is Sony VAIO VGN-FZ17G.

    Many thanks.

Thanks Chev65, I tried your suggestion, and it works!
But I have another problem is...which driver should I use?
I tried the newest release from the Nvidia offical website, I tried the old version one that I found in HardwareHeaven.com, but they are not working. Even the driver is installed, the graphics cards still cannot recongize it.
    Please help. Many thanks.
