3 mobile broadband dongle works then stops

    Windows 7 will allow you to install the 3 dongle software, so after you have installed the software right click on the desktop icon>properties>compatibility>run as Vista service pack 2>tick the box that says run as administrator.

    This solved the problem for me running windows 7.

    Try the latest drivers and flash for the dongle. They can be found here.

    Yeah, I know the post is 8 months old, but anyone searching this problem via google will find this thread near the top, as I did.
    The fix mentioned previously is long winded and not particularly helpful.
    The problem arises if you have an old dongle and are running Windows 7 or Vista.
    The fix is simple.

    1.Plug in Dongle and allow it to install.
    2.Run the Driver/Firmware update from http://ask3.three.co.uk/mbbdocs/driv...s_drivers.html


    Fixed.

    There are still people out there with 3 dongles that have not auto-updated, I was just trying to be helpful.
