    can WEI be wrong?

After a fresh format and install of Win 7 (my previous processor was 4200+), my games suddenly started giving choppy performance (with the latest nvidia driver), with audio stuttering in-game. So I installed my drivers from ASUS (old ones for win 7), and now my gaming score in Wei has gone from 5.3 to 5.4!!! What's the deal guys?

Video drivers especially, from your PC manufacturer will perform better on your PC. The code may be slightly altered in the driver to fit your configuration.

I am not a gamer; but I have found that the latest Nvidia drivers are not always the best. I have had to install older drivers to get the best performance and clear up problems.

I have just tried playing NFS Most Wanted (1.3), the video and audio stutterings (happen at the same time) remain the same . I tried benchmarking everything went smooth , no hiccups, I can't point my finger at the damn prblem...video encoding goes smoothly, no problems there either!! Just games, i guess.

Can the Gfx be responsible for the stuttering? I've tried benchmarking with 3dmark, and furmark and so on- the card held firm, didn't crash or show artifacts! That's why i'm confused, could the BIOS somehow been messed up because of over voltage when I updated my chip from 4200+ to 5200+? I've had to flash the Bios, everything went ok except for games, which stutteered horribly along with the audio
