    Drivers needed.....


    I had installed windows 7 RC yesterday it was working fine but the problem arise is with display ........previously i m using windows xp its works fine with intel 845 chipset nd i can adjust my resolution between 800X600 to 1024X768 but in windows 7 i m getting 640X480 resolution nd no option is availaible to change it so plz help me........i m really frustated with it....pls pls help me....
    I have
    2.4 ghz processor,
    intel D845GVS1,
    1gb ddr ram

    Hi bunny, welcome to the forums.

    You could try here - Download Locations - once downloaded, run the exe file with compatability mode for XP and see what happens.

    That's ok, not a problem :) give what i've said a try and see what happens. It should also give you better control over your graphics capabilities as well. If you get the annoying message about the driver being older just accept & click yes. I've done the same with my 945 chipset.

    Hopefully Windows Update may even recognise a new driver after the install.

    What is compatibility mode???? nd my problem is with windows 7 display drivers ...........

    Once downloaded if you right-click the exe file and choose the 'Compatability' tab you can choose to allow the program to run as if you were running Windows XP. This is handy if you are having any sort of driver issue with older hardware.

    thanx very much yaar its works.............one thing i also need to know that all of my softwares are support xp but when i run them in windows 7 they give an error compatibility issue nd no software is availaible for windows 7 so how i them install?????

    i believe if you can get to the setup.exe then you can also choose compatability mode for that
