    x64 WLAN-adapter drivers (Buffalo)

    Hi!

I succesfully installed Win 7 x64 today to my new computer, but the problem is that I don't find or have drivers for my USB WLAN-adapter Buffalo WLI-U2-SG54HG.

I tried to find Vista x64 drivers, but without success. Do I have to change my OS to x86 or buy a new adapter?

Well, I haven't tested those particular files, but I've tried to download Vista drivers from the Buffalo website. It seems that there's no 64bit drivers at all.

I've just looked in the knowledgebase on Buffalo's website:

    Thanks for the help!

I solved my problem with just changing the device to WLI-U2-KG125S. I found the working drivers from here:

    The Belkin F5D7050 (4xxx) driver (09/07/2009,2.2.0.27) works with Windows 7 x64.

The driver in the installer must "forced". Windows dosen't think it will work, so you must point out the "Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter".

With this driver, my Buffalo WLI-U2-KG54L works even after hibernate/sleep.

    Hello,

I know this thread was created long time ago but non of the answers given worked for me. I spent some time to find the solution and I guess it will be usefull for others to post it.

I'll keep it short: HERE is the driver. It works for the next buffalo wireless adaptors:

    • WLI-U2-SG54HP
    • WLI-U2-G54HP
    • WLR-UC-G
    • WLI-UC-G
    • WLI-U2-SG54HG
    • WLI-U2-G54HG

If your model is not in that list then it will only work for you if your device chipset is the Ralink RT73, otherwise don't bother trying to make it work, because it won't.

It will work for the 32bits and 64 bits versions of Windows 7 and probably Vista too, altough I didn't try that.

    Hope it helps!
