    Extrabilly scan's again!!

Well, I'm glad I didn't give up. After spending hours downloading CWX's code files, then being unable to open them, I realized they were S300 Scan Manager files that I already had. Thanks for the effort, it got me trying things again.

I deleated all Scan Manager and orginizer software, rebooted then reinstalled, updated from the Fujitsu site in spite of already having the latest update, than went to "SsDrvRepair-x64" where I had been many times and low and behold instead of not seeing the scanner it ran the repair program, gave me a hard time about setting my save location to a valid file, OK, OK, adjusted the save file location and it worked! No more running downstairs to my old XP machine with a thumb drive to get a scanned file onto my computer.

Thanks to all who contributed to the fix, I think my problem may have been related to using a USB hub, it had always been operated through the hub, but I relocated the scanned closer to my computer and connected it directly to the USB ports on the motherboard. Probally why I could not get the driver repair program to see the scanner. Anyway working now, Thanks all.

    Thanks Worldzulu!

I have Win7 fresh install and 64 bit. Scanner didn't work after Win7 install. Followed your simple instructions and "WALLA!". No driver install needed. Super quick fix and thanks a million!!!

    San2Excel & Scan2Word

Having followed the instructions in the thread, I note that the ScanSnap Organizer only shows Scan2email and Scan2Print functions - can I go ahead and install my ORIGINAL Scan2Excel and Scan2Word software from my original disk, and will it work?
