    PCI Simple Communication Controller Driver


    Hi

    I have dell inspiron 1564 laptop last month, after installing windows 7 i realized that PCI simple communication controller was not functioning properly. I checked the dell driver site but no help. Could some one help me me. I got no driver cd with the laptop.

    Well now it is not showing any PCI Simple Communication controller on the device drivers. Does this mean problem is solved

    Well I had to uninstall it and now under other devices it says "unknown device" previously it said PCI Simple Communication Controller (which was not installed properly). need help please

    The device is your modem, if when you installed the driver I posted you lost the PCI Simple Communications device it meant your modem probably was listed.

    Thanks. I uninstalled the device and then i went to device manager and started the update driver, so it installed the same device you gave me hence working now. I think it was related to wifi as i could not set wifi on this system will give it a try now hopefully it will work now (Wifi). Thanks again for the quick response.
