    Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000

I know Creative have released a beta driver for this headset: HSHP_W7DRVBETA_US_1_01_0003.exe
    Link: Creative Worldwide Support

However, I'm just wondering if its worth it?
Win7 picked up the headset fine and everything has been working "straight out of the box".
I only had to change the name of the device in audio properties to distinguish between speakers and headset. Mic has worked perfectly and sounds fine with no adjustments. (Tested on ventrillo)

The only thing drivers/package seems to offer is changing EQ settings or various "technologies" available which im not interested in.

or is there something else i'm missing which I would need the drivers for?

I have the same thing my problem is I had the Eval copy of Ultimate did a fresh install of Home Pre (no need for Ultimate and free copy) all driver install...I have sound BUT it stutters, lags and the CD drivers and the "Windows 7 Beta" driver do the same. Even the Windows Update drivers sound horrid. I dont get what the deal it. RC Eval Copy works flawless. Retail Final...sounds like crap. If anyone can find a solution I would love it.

Everything is up to date. Only sound that has issues is the headset
