Hello Vekta, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The downloaded file should be an EXE file that you run to get a extraction pop-up (may be hidden behind another window, so look on taskbar for it) that you can then select the desktop to extract the driver files to. Afterwards, you should be able to select these drivers in Device Manager to install them.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Hi,

I have downloaded the executable and extracted the files to a folder on my desktop, but when i attempted to install the driver through the device manager i get this message.

I attempted this process with both

    http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...HQL_Driver.exe

    and

    http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...QL_Drivers.exe

    any ideas?

    Vekta,

Is using a ethernet connection from the modem to your LAN port on the back of the computer, or back of router/switch to back of computer, an option?
