Okay. I don't have any problems that I have noticed. I found my gigabyte CD and installed the drivers for the Universal Serial bus (USB) Controller. So the bunch of 3 are set right now. Only the AOD2MTI5 IDE controller is missing. I will gladly take your advice and leave well enough alone. I will read the link you supplied, thanks. I'm eager to learn more. I certainly wont be doing any tweaking or such without first asking or looking into it, and then making sure it is the right thing for me and my usage.

Thank you very much for all your assistance.

(I had this computer custom built, so I have all the CD's. I totally forgot about them... shows you how new I am to fixing or tweaking these little things).

    Have a great day

You're very welcome, and you have a great day too! There's always someone here if you need anything.

Hi Willowhoop, just one little point to remember, even though you have the CD's that came with your new pc always check the manufacturers website for drivers, firmware etc as the CD's are normally older versions of the software
