ShellFolderFix - Manage folder window positions/size

Where can I get hold of 1.1.3?

Where do you get 1.1.3? Is there a central location? All I see is 1.1.4 on page 1.

I couldn't find 1.1.3 online, so used the file I had kept from a year or so ago.

This has been working great for me since I did my re-install on my SSD. I am running W7 ult x64. I had trouble initially, then used the delay function withing SFF, and all is good.

I now have the same problem. ShellFolderFix has always worked for me but I've noticed a few unexpected things over a few weeks now, so I put it to the test and while it's definitely doing something to folder size memory as it isn't the same as default Win7.64 behaviour, it isn't actually doing what's required at all now. I haven't found any SFF options that help, restarting SFF makes no difference. I blame windows updates

Success. I thought it was worth uninstalling SFF and trying a fresh install but that was the same, so I wondered if the problem was actually 1.1.4. I put on 1.1.3 and it works!

I may have a solution to SFF v1.1.4 not working of late. I use CCleaner with CCenhancer. I run CCleaner at least daily. Yesterday, I disabled CCleaner and now my Shell Folder Fix settings are seemingly persisting. I know this has not been tested by me as a solution for long, but others may wish to look into this method as a way to rectify the recent problems. I will be fiddling with CCleaner settings to discover which ones are wiping SFF. I am a bit reluctant to do so as I do not wish to wipe out my SFF settings again. If any of you find the proper CCleaner settings on your own please let the rest of us know. I think SFF is essential software for Win7. Many thanks to the creators of same.

Not for me. After my regular HDD started working again, and now, since I moved to my SSD, I run CCleaner all the time. Mine has not stopped working since I moved to my SSD and used the startup delay function

If I haven't said it already, I agree with that statement. That is why I am so upset it isn't working. I got a copy of 1.1.3 via email. I am going to see if that works. Been away, so I haven't had a chance to test it.

I notice some people having problems with the newest version, and the issue may be with your setups.

I've ran several versions of this, including the current v1.1.4, with no problems.

And this has been across quite a few installs, as well as multiple hardware configurations.

You need to just take a few minutes to set it up properly, and it will work perfectly.

I select show tray icon, start automatically at logon, restore previous at logon, and I set it to auto save every hour.
I've also set the data base size to 10,000 folders.

And if you mess it up, just delete it and reinstall it.

Oh yeah, and i'm not sure if it makes much of a difference where you keep the installation folder, but I always keep mine in documents.

Monsoon........thx to your settings and Steve Bradshaw (who sent me 1.1.3.64), SFF is alive and working well on my computer.

I just tested it and every folder is keeping the shape I set it at.
