Shutdown Timer will be turning in to commercial software, charging $5 for a license to use Shutdown Timer, I will be providing free license keys to users of this forum, well the ones that helped in this thread.

    Thanks

    OK everyone

Shutdown Timer 3.3 is going to be released very soon but I would like for all bugs to be addressed before final release.

    Changelog:

    ~ Interface

    - Improved Timer interface
    - Improved License Manager
    - Changed feedback icon
    - Better navigation in the program, now shows a breadcrumb style layout
    - Changed layout for modules, provides the user with a less cramped and more detailed interface.

    ~ Backend

    - Reworked code, removed two dll libraries from the system.

    ~ Features

    - Open file option now includes ability to add parameters for an executable.
    - Added close to system tray option
    - Added exit on action option
    - New Parallel Tasks, more than one task can be created.
    - Profiles can be created to quick load different tasks.
    - New CPU Temperature Feature
    + Based on TJ Max

    ~ Modifications

    - Removed Plugins Tab in Settings
    - Updates to Wake up Timer
+ Wake up timer now includes options to wake up at a specific date and time
    - Ability to include options to open a file or run a command after wake up.
    - Recoded CPU Temperature module to work with CPUs with more than 4 cores.
    - Removed Time Options as Date Options can simply replicate the same functionality
    - Provided better readbility for Processes, now processes are arranged alphabetically.

    ~ Bug Fixes
    - Removed redundant Donation menu item
    - Fixed problem with CPU Temperature returning 0 as a temperature
    - Fixed date picker where setting dates in the past was allowed
    - Other minor bug fixes
    Download:

    32 Bit:
    http://sinvise.net/beta/ShutdownTimer.exe

    64 Bit:

These are both portable versions just for testing purposes.

Please report any bugs or errors you may face.

That's weird. Can you tell me what folder it created and whether it showed anything else.

there are 8 files in the extracted folder
    config.db - 12 kb
    Microsoft.Expression.Interactions.dll - 64 kb
    portable - 0 kb
    Shutdown Timer.exe - 2443 kb
    System.Data.SQLite.dll - 844 kb
    System.Windows.Controls.Layout.Toolkit.dll - 93 kb
    System.Windows.Interactivity.dll - 44 kb
    WPFToolkit.dll - 457 kb

i downloaded the 64 bit one again, and got the same results.

maybe this will help, i ran a previous version twice, and did not do a restart on my computer yet, only sleep.

of course, after i downloaded the 64 bit file, and extracted it into a folder, i double clicked on the Shutdown Timer.exe file, it blinked for a second, and nothing happened, tried it a few times.

Sorry just you didn't state you ran the file.

Have you tried running the 32 bit version. Then I'll be able to know if it's just a corrupted file or not.
