we set it up simple parameters to restart as a practice run for shutdown and it just did nothing but sit there with the busy spin saying working , nothing more

the patience level of a 15yr old meant we went for option B after 2 tries in 10 mins so not exactly persevered, but i have to be honest it was far too complex , i love the simplicity of the gadget version
I see what you mean, it's not working for me either, I swear I checked it out and it was working before.

Well back to Visual Studio to fix it.

Issue should be fixed, give the installer a try again and let me know how it turns out.

Oo yes gratz on the new badge

I can't get my daughter to try your newly fixed full version as she insists the gadget is perfect , well actually she describes it as "posh"

I think the gadget would be a perfect tool if there was a hibernate and or sleep option , but tbh it's gr8 as it is and it's beauty is in its simplicity

haha "Posh" I'd like to know how she came to that conclusion :)

The gadget does still lack some functionality, such as forced shutdowns so if she does have some apps running and they stop the shutdown process then I guess the system won't shutdown, this will be released once I get another version up and running.

It isn't really possible to put hibernate and sleep, I think the suspend option will serve well for this use though. The real version does have hibernate and standby (sleep) but obviously if she's happy then it's all good.

And thanks for the donation if it was from you, I'm taking the guess since the person who donated was from Weston super mare
