is there a command line function for the program? Can I load it on startup via command line execution and have it, for example, restart (or log out) upon 30 minutes of idle activity? Looks like idle is added to the next version based on the pic.
The program does not have a command line option but it does have an auto activate option. So when the program is being run it automatically activates.

And yes there will be an idle module in built.

Yes but there's no way then to have it start automatically with a certain shutdown setting upon system startup? It'd have to start , then be set manually, and then it would auto-activate when triggered. Correct?

Sorry I didn't state before that if you go to the settings there is an option called auto activate under the general tab. You can enable auto activation here.

OK Guys it's been a long time since an update for Shutdown Timer has been released, but I'm almost there, I have released the beta of 3.1 for everyone to test. There have been a lot of changes made which can be found here:
    Shutdown Timer Changelog

To download and test both the 32 & 64 bit versions just unzip archive:

Great stuff, can I ask if that was version 3.1?

Also things needed testing in version 3.1

    - Wake up Timer
    - Network Usage
    - Password protection (Can be activated in settings > Security)

Working really well here. Startup is considerably snappier and the new stuff in 3.1 seems to be working flawlessly. However I think you should add a "Confirm password" field in security.
One thing though, when i choose the option " Auto Activate when Shutdown Timer runs" and I choose "Networking" I'm getting the below errors.
Otherwise, great work as usual and a big thanks for your efforts.

    Thanks for the feedback :)

I think the problem it's looking at is that is has no activation method, if you look at the config.ini file there problem is no action value. Try just entering Shutdown in after the = and see if that fixes it. If it does then I'll issue a fix in the program.
