    Accelerated Scrolling for large pages

I found this app lying on the AutoHotKey forums, took it apart, rebuilt it, made a simple help system, and added credits to the original maker. :)

It's pretty simple. What it does is it finds how fast you've scrolled the mouse wheel by checking how many ticks it's received from the mouse in a given time. So basically, if you roll the mouse wheel a lot, your page will scroll fast. Much faster.

Here's the program, and a text file to test it on.

    Accelerated Scrolling.exe
    Lines.txt

As a side note, it's come to my attention that a few virus scanners pick up AutoHotKey scripts as malware. They have every right to be, as some AHK scripts can contain viruses. So, for that, I am adopting a policy of linking to the VirusTotal results, and also uploading the source code to the program (as long as it's not something I've spend hours on )

I usually press the middle mouse button on top of the page and then place the pointer in the bottom of the page ....

I do that a lot, but this app works for everything you can scroll in, not just web pages. =p
