Not a program, but great for people using vmware player...

I don't know about the rest of you. But I have found even with a powerful system vmware players services running all the time slows me down at boot. And I like to be mean and lean and fast. So instead of setting those services to manual and constantly running to services to run them when I wanted to use vmware player, I made a dead simple batch to start the services and virtual network adapters and then one to stop them when your finished running vmware player.

Just set all of those vmware services to startup type manual once under services in computer management, and that's it.

Again, the main reason I did this is It helps keep unnecessary services from running when you don't need them all the time, and it also helps clean up your network adapters so that you do not always have 4 adapters running all the time. I'm kinda picky and a little ocd, so seeing those adapters running when I am not using them bothers me.

Anyways, here they are for anyone that might find them useful. Yes I realize anyone can do this, but why not make it a easy download so no one else has to do it themselves?

See attached. Make sure to run the bat file as admin. The bat file will attempt to ask for elevation when ran.

    Welcome :)

Updated, removed the need to right click and run as admin. Added elevation from UAC support.
