    Problems with Neverwinter Nights


    I can not get Neverwinter Nights to work with Windows 7. I had no problems with installation, and the launcher comes up fine, but when I try to play it, it says I have compatibility issues. I don't know what to do. I have ran it as an administrator, and have tried to run it in compatibility mode with everything, but nothing works. What am I doing wrong here? Other people seem to have no problems.

    EDIT: I am a freaking moron. I thought I had downloaded the 1.69 patch, but apparently I hadn't. It started up after I had done that, so that seems to have been the problem.

    See if disabling 'Visual Themes' helps... Aero causes major problems for older games.

    I have downloaded de 1.69 patch, and installed it...the first screen runs, but after I click on Play the neverwinter nights logo comes on and then the program closes itself.

    Anything else you did besides intalling the 1.69 patch?
