    Install FSX Gold Edition On Windows 7


    Hello worldwide mammals :)

    I have just bought Flight Simulator X Gold Edition and when I insert disc 1 the installion procedure is not opening. I tried to click Start>MyComputer and my disc drive but it says Insert Disc.....What do I do to install the game?

    I have no idea how to check all of that so I just did dxdiag and print screen the first two pages, here are the links:

    Could you post your system specs?
    Could you also check whether your DVD-drive is able to display other media e.g. insert a music CD to check whether your PC can see the music files?

    I don't know how to check my specs so I did dxidag and gave you the first two pages? Isin't that good enough

    I tried
    PCDVD: FS2004 and Airbus Collection
    PCCD: NHL 06
    Nothing worked when I did this the ROM did not read the discs

    Ok.
    Understood however it takes me a long time to download files. I'm gonna do that now.
    Will get back to you shortly - have you tried what I suggested on the DVD drive?

    Do other DVDs work in your drive? If yes ...
    Can you explore your FSX DVD? If no, then your media sounds like it's bad. Contact the company and see if you can swap media.

    Sorry was posting the same time as you did.
    Do you have access to another PC where you could try if the DVD is indeed working?
    Based on what you stated above, you may need a new DVD-drive.
