Sounds like another program is starting to run after some time. I would check and make sure you have all updates to your antivirus and have very little running in your system tray.

Far Cry 2 in DX10 mode with ATI cards has a known issue of crashing to the desktop around the 1 hour mark. It's a memory leak. Once it hits a certain memory usage, it simply quits.

Check your audio driver too. I had a crash every now and then in COH until I updated to the latest realtek driver (fingers crossed)

The PC is not new, (six years old)... |

Poor computer conditions = poor gaming performance? First off, I didn't know whether to post this in gaming or hardware. Sorry. My question: If there is dust on the videocard and fans or other poor condtions in my computer, can it affect performance in gaming? FPS wise? Thanks, Andrew. |

Poor Gaming Performance Okay I'm a little vexed as I've felt for a long time now that my PC is under performing for what it is (see my specs below), when it comes to gaming. Basically could anybody tell me if the attached results for the Metro 2033 frontline benchmark test match with what you'd expect for a system like... |

Poor Gaming Performance Would anybody have a clue as to why my gaming performance is so poor? I've just installed a new GTX 580 and to my surprise Crysis is incredibly laggy. Even on just high settings at 1080p there is enough stuttering and lag to make the game very unenjoyable, almost unplayable. I've attached the... |
