How to play this computer game?

Hi, I have Windows 7, and I want to play 'I Spy Spooky Mansion', but everytime I play it says "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows that you are running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and the contact the software publisher." Is there any fix to this problem? Please please let me know. ^^

My son has it on his old XP machine but I know it can be a bit finicky at times.
    What you can try:
right click on the EXE go to Properties/Compatibility and set it to "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (or even Windows 98).

    I GOT IT!!!

    How to:
    1) install windows virtual PC (Microsoft)
    2) install windows XP mode (Microsoft)
    3) once you have XP mode running, install WindCDemu inside winXP. It's used to mount the .iso as a virtual CD rom.
    4) make an iso of your ISpy Spooky mansion disk, and move it into your virtual win xp.
    5) mount your .iso, and run the install.

NOTE: Do not maximize or change the xp resolution. It will mess up. The startup scene is "buggy" let it play. Dont touch.

Nope. Just 3 hours. My son would not stop, and was getting really upset. It was some work, but it worked. This is one of the threads I found when searching. Thought I should share.
