Downgrading
Hey guys,
I find myself hardly using my gaming pc anymore for gaming,i usually just surf the net and listen to music on it,play the odd BC2 round on a weekend and that's about it as i now have a Xbox 360
So ive been thinking of selling my rig and buying a newer,But lower end setup,Would this setup cope with Bad Company 2?...i can live with medium settings in DX9 that's not a problem if it has to be turned down.
AMD Athlon II X4 635 2.9GHz 2MB Cache Socket AM3 Retail Box Processor
MSI 870-C45 AMD 870 Socket AM3 GB LAN 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Memory Kit CL9(9-9-9-27) 1.7 - 1.9V
Sapphire HD 5450 1GB DDR2 DVI VGA HDMI Out PCI-E Low Profile Graphics Card
I already have Sata hard drives,Sata DVD-WR,A 460W Power supply and a Low profile case and a Low Profile Asus Xonar D1 sound card so they wont be any extra cost.
Its just my current system seems, under used with its power and i know it eats the juice (Power wise)..so something that doesnt eat so much electric would be nicer and i know that setup above will be alot more energy efficient.
Total cost of the "Downgrade"
