Just Cause 2 crashing before it starts

I just got this machine a couple of months ago and am just finally getting around to get games for it so I grabbed a copy of Just Cause 2 and installed and went through the whole steam dance only for the game to not work. Every time I try to run it steam does it's part then the .exe shows up on my process list on task manager for about 4 seconds before it vanishes and the game never shows up. I've already updated graphic drivers and directx, I've run it as administrator, and disabled my anti virus with none of them working. Thanks in advance for any help put forth.

EDIT: Of course as soon I post this and start messing around on my own again i solved the problem sorry for taking up a slot on the board guys
