Give it a try. What happens if it doesn't work? You are disappointed but know more than you did before.

You cannot go plop down $4-600 US and expect a gaming machine when you buy a laptop. My last laptop I purchased specifically to run games four years ago cost well over two thousand USD.

As said earlier your laptop is not designed for games, it might work but it will only run in low resolution. Your game performance will be very slow

Remember that the 512mb video memory that was mentioned in the specs refers to dedicated memory, pre-allocated video RAM. Your Intel chip uses parts of your system RAM to increase its memory size, also called shared video memory.

NFS Shift or Shift 2 or something else?
I am looking for racing game, more of a SIM for PC. Graphics need to be good. Confused between Shift 1 and 2. Or is there some other which I should look into other than these 2? BTW, will not be using Wheel but gamepad or less likely keyboard.

Shift 2
My advice....Don't bother! Managed to get it a day early , what a let down. To me the graphics seem even inferior to the original Shift. Car handling not impressive. No wow factor what so ever.

NFS Shift Problems
I was playing NFS: Shift and then suddenly, without doing anything (this happens all the time with it on my PC), it'll freeze at the first red light. I installed XP 64 on another HDD, and that didn't have a problem, and it was much faster too. Any ideas?
