ive got a new hard drive for my pc as my old one is going to fail soon and instead of installing windows 7 onto the new hard drive instead i just moved it from one hard drive to another and i dont get the choice to boot from it, i know why and everythiing i just need to know how to find the boot...

I have just installed another GPU for crossfiring my system. All went fine and dandy when suddenly one day i am unable to load windows. It would hang at the logo and reboot. Did startup repair and system restore.
System restore does not work though, as once i reboot the system. same...
Quick question: Do ALL folders from C get moved into windows.old OR just system folders (i.e. documents and settings, programdata etc)?
If I understand correctly, all the folders on the C are moved into windows.old, but I'd like to confirm 100% :-)
I couldn't find a clear answer on this...
