New DLC's in the coming weeks/month

New DLC to be released in the coming weeks/months.....

May 3, 2011 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced three downloadable content packs will be released in the coming months for Fallout®: New Vegas™. The three packs will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows-based PCs
    The three DLC's will be.....

    - Honest Hearts - Available on May 17 - takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band

    - Old World Blues - Releasing in June - you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry.

    - Lonesome Road - Available in July - brings the courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas.
    Source: Bethesda Blog

The DLC's will be $9.99. Hmmm.... should we just wait for the GOTY release?

    Nice TY for the info.

    Interesting point about the GOTY.

Ill probably just grab the DLCs as they are released since I already have the collector edition as well as Dead Money.

Because, if you already have NV and Dead Money your looking at $30 over next 3 months.

Im guessing a GOTY will be what .. $50?
I would think at this point, if you already own the game, and do not already have Dead Money .. it might actually be better to wait a bit for the GOTY though.

Then again, it really comes down to whats coming out and will keep us busy over the next few months .. like Witcher 2 etc .. so it may be worth waiting.

    What's Dead Money?

I haven't touched or looked at New Vegas since I finished it months back. Very boring game.

As for the GOTY edition, with Fallout 3 I never bought any of the DLC for it, but once the GOTY edition was released I bought it so that I could get all the DLC. Turned out cheaper that way.

I may do the same with New Vegas as I really wasn't impressed with the game, or bugs.

I don't know we'll see how bored I get with the other games out and and whether I feel like giving New Vegas another try.

Its a DLC thats available now.
As for whether or not its any good ... I can not say.
I have it, but have not played it yet.

I was going to start a new game but got distracted with Portal 2, and now working on Two Worlds 2.

But I did play a bit after latest Patch and things do seem to be running much better. But then again, some issues never popped up untill later in the game, and I never left Good Springs.

You may be right. It might be worth just waiting.

    Speaking of ....
I may get the DA:O deal on STEAM for the extra DLC packs .. :)
Since I only have Awakening and Witch Hunt.

Yeah I thought about getting that Ultimate Edition but can't do it at $40 bucks since I already have Awakening as well.

Seaking of Portal 2 I'm rather enjoying it. I'm on the third level after the "Fall" with the Gel. Pretty good thus far :)

Any back to FONV - I'll take a look to see what Dead Money is about. I'm still on the fench as to whether I should or shouldn't give FONV another try.

i love Fallout, but dead money was.....crap!

what didnt entertain you about fallout? or what didnt u like?

just as i feel its more of a story and a case of building things up and finding items - i did take a little fun out of it by going on fallout wiki, but getting most unique items.

    Sorry
lol dont be sorry thats fair enough. to be honest after it's 3(i think) patch's it was fine for me, crashed about 2ce a week using it a couple hours a day, but yes buggy, not as bad as FO, but still yes and mad glitch's

yeah little bit the same as FO, but unless story line is followed closely it can be, i had to play most of it with no sound as i played in during my work, and i had to replay to understand a little of it even with subs, not the same.

got a few friends that either want to marry it, or are not that into it. marmite syndrome

No more dialogue hints. Skill checks are just that, checks now. You may fail them rather than just seeing a number and popping a few magazines.
Repair system heavily revamped to include random junk found in the wasteland. While not heavily fixing a weapon/armor, it can get you by when you’re short on caps.
All objects have had their weights adjusted realistically between FOOK and Realistic Weight Overhaul.
