I find the microstuttering really annoying, especially out in the open

Looks like I'm going to have to find some tweaks or something to smooth it out.

I've been loving it, just got it today. I've been a fallout fan since Fallout 1 back in 1997(I was 10 years old then) and I agree this game feels like a major expasion of Fallout 3. +1 on the music it gives the game a great feel.

I'm really enjoying the game, I really love those side quests. This game is time consuming.

I pre-ordered last minute, and got the caravan stuff. (sturdy shotgun ftw)
I had MAJOR issues at first. E/g i would kill a bunch of stuff, then like 5 minutes later I'd hear all the gunshots and what not. That on top of stuttering, lag, and overall s**ty gameplay issues.... The second patch did little to correct any of that, for me anyway (see specs lol). But! I recently installed 7 (again, thanks to my sibbs backup disc yay.) and I gotta say, The game is 100x better. The sound Works, the controls work properly, and the game floats at a decent frame rate. Overall better.

Now that I can actually play the game, Im hooked, line, and sinkered. about 9 hours in, and lovin it. The story so far is'nt as deep as Fo3, but still pretty good. The weapon mods are neat, and the craft system is pretty tight, a lot of new stuff to tinker with. Hopefully the other little issues get ironed out sooner or later. My friend found a little infinite experience loop, and got to level 20 in like 4 minutes (lol)

tl;dr - awesome sauce. happy gaming turkeys

Personally, Fallout: New Vegas is just what Fallout 3 should have been. I honestly just see it is a mere rehash of its predecessor.

Agreed to a point. True it would have made one hell of an expansion to Fo3, but there's plenty of new stuff to warrant a whole new game, imo. kinda like Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2. New frosting on old cake....

Anyone have issues with saving and then upon exiting game and coming back in the game crashes loading the auto save? It doesnt matter if i save and load that manually. My game now crashes. 16 hours in. On the main quest I have to confront benny. So, not too far in on the single player quest. With and without the update this happens.

That shouldn't be an issue anymore. Steam deployed an update to fix the save bug, the other day.... your using steam, right?
