Yeah, I'm thinking both ATI & Nvidia may provide driver updates for the game, though It may not help as the issues seem to be "game" related. We'll see.
    Welcome ATI.... GPU-86: AMD Catalyst

      • OpenGL 4.1 beta support
      • Support for the new Morphological Anti-Aliasing feature
      • Dead Rising 2 – Crossfire profile (Resolves negative scaling)
      • Crossfire Performance Improvement for:
        • Metro 2033
        • F1 2011 - (Direct X9 version)
        • Fallout New Vegas
      • Performance optimizations for systems with an AMD Radeon™ HD 6870 and AMD Radeon HD 6850 series of graphics products installed
        • Aliens versus Predator performance enhancements
        • Star Craft 2 performance enhancements
        • OpenGL performance enhancements – gains can be seen in Prey, Quake Wars: Enemy Territories, and Heaven v2
Although it says its for crossfire and I don't have a crossfire setup I'm going to give it a try anyway, can't hurt.

Oh... as for the globes, yeah I didn't mean to ask for spoiledge

And I collect enough junk as is, weapons, armor, etc....

    Thanks.

Has this game got the same save issues as other 'Games for Windows Live' games, i.e. user not being able to manually copy/back-up saves? (Old saves don't work on new installs)

(This question is for those that are not using the Steam version)

New Vegas uses STEAM, not GFWL.

If you have a legitimate copy of New Vegas, be it Digital Download or a retail Disc, you must use STEAM as it is the games DRM.

So everyone has a STEAM copy. If not ...... its not legit.

At launch there was a Save game problem causes by something in the STEAm Cloud, but it has since been patches and fixed.

It's by far the most buggy and poorly written and poorly coded game of all time...
crikey - you've never played hearts of iron 3?
    Or STALKER, or Cryostasis
    or Arma II...

Buggy? Yes. "of all time"? - Not even close
