    Sims 3

well i have recently gotten Sims 3 and i am using Windows (i deleted vista)

and it looks like a good game but it gets some graphics problems, i dont know if its windows 7 or my gfx card (its an integrated gfx card on my laptop)

as you can see it is pixelated, it is usually a lot worse and you cant read or see any thing on the menus

I have a Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family gfx card
    and windows 7 build 7100

and i have tried messing with the compatability settings like run as vista, vista sp1, xp sp2, etc.

please can someone help me, i payed good money for this

Out of curiousity, are you using the Windows 7 drivers that came via Windows Update?

You could try the Windows Vista drivers for your graphics card, see if that helps.

Well first I'd suggest running Windows Updates and seeing if their are any updates available.

If that doesn't help try the Windows Vista drivers for your graphics card. See how that works. :)

I need to know two more things, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit operating system, and did you mean Mobile Intel(R) ""945"" Express Chipset Family because I cannot find Mobile Intel(R) ""45"" Express Chipset Family

When you attempted to install it? Thats odd.. doesn't do it to me.

At any rate, save it to your 'downloads' folder, right click it and click "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

    Then click: Troubleshoot Program

Then check: The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now

Then just click Windows Vista SP1 or SP2

    Then click: Start the program

That should let it run through completely and install.

artifacts. either there's something wrong with drivers, or there's something wrong with video adapter itself.
