Can you recommend a relaxing game?

I'm not much into games, but I occasionally play Solitaire while my 3D software is rendering.
Now I got bored with Solitair and I'd like to try something else. It should be peaceful and relaxing, nothing to do with velocity or shooting, and it should be very small because during rendering all my 4 cores work at nearly maximum and leave only very little performance for other applications.

Any suggestions what game I could try?

Try Tinker its a neat little puzzle game from MS. I found it pretty cool. Plus it's free, so its a win win.

Hello rich46 has started this thread, A Free Game From the Past. More games are being added as members post them, I have added 3 more including a card game with over 1000 card games (not all Solitaire) and a classic Yahtzee game that is 100% faithful to the original.

I have also played the Tinker game mentioned by holo88. The game may seem simple-minded at first glance but some levels are quite challenging and can be quite the brain teaser that is fun and relaxing.

Falling Sand Game (warning: addicting), MineCraft Alpha (on peaceful difficulty setting).

Falling Sand game can be found here: Falling Sand Game Forums • Index page
There are many varieties and are all free. Some are browser based and others are downloads. MineCraft is difficult to explain. It looks dumb at first but becomes very addicting very quickly once you get the hang of it. MineCraft Classic is free, MineCraft Alpha costs about $15, but will go up after Beta comes out. I suspect Halloween will mark the launch of Beta.

Tetris and Atlantis are two great games I can recommend.

Tetris can be found anywhere, but you can only use a free trial for Atlantis.

    Pinball is another great option.
