    running old games on win7


    Having probs trying to run Ultimate Race Pro and i have tried all the options to make it work anyone got a fix for this as i know its an old game but come on i thought win7 would have been able to run it.

    Have you tried patching it to the lates version to see if that works

    Many games are incompatible due the copy protection put on the disks won't run on Windows 7.. Starforce being a major culprit.

    So you have to bypass this by installing a no cd patch. Like with Silent Hunter III - I had to install via the setup.exe, patch to the latest revision, then apply a no cd patch and replace that with the original *.exe
