    Gaming from a USB 2.0 External HDD


    Could i play games on my pc which are installed on a USB 2.0 External HDD ok.???:)

    if it was 3.0 you would be good im sure you can but the transfer speed might vary depends on you're rig

    you should be good probally off a few seconds from a installed drive but you should have significant transfer rate according to you're specs

    I also do all my gaming from usb, once it's loaded into ram etc etc, hardrive doesn't even come into it, only when it's loading a new chapter etc etc. Games will load very quickly on yours, mine do on a 7200rpm.

    Yes. I do almost all of my gaming off of an external HDD (K) and other than a few seconds extra time to load a game, no problems at all.

    This is my set up, lots of external stuff, no problems.

    1st: How did you change your External HDD icons within COMPUTER?

    2: How did you get the recyble bin nearly in the centre of your taskbar?
