lol i just looked up this game to see what you where talking about because i thought to myself if hes addicted to this then it must be something really good and cool i looked it up and the only thing i could think was what the heck is this i dont see the point of it but i guess you guys like too build stuff then i guess its cool but the fact that it looks like a 50 year old version of super mario before the n64 i would seriously have to pass on this game if its even a game at all more like a simulator too me
    Each to their own.

I find it's a great game to sit and relax to. I mostly just play in peaceful mode, and dig around. Hard mode can be pretty fun if you want a challenge though I find it can get annoying when you're actually trying to do something.

I thought I could never be addicted to another game again after I put down FPS's but after playing this game for awhile I noticed that just it's presence is a time waster. I've been up to my neck in minecraft videos, mods, skins you name it. Frankly I think I'm going to have to stop playing it all together so I can actually focus on schoolwork.

Funny enough i tried to get my Counter Strike Clan interested in it and they kind of come out with the same things like "Ohhh. My ZX Spectrum could of played that" etc etc.

Until i told them that to play it properly with no lag (Because the worlds are endless and draw on the fly) you need a 2Ghz+ processor and 2Gb+ of ram (3Gb would be better) And the fact that most of the video's people see and on the official site are in 16x16 textures. Then i played them a video i did myself running a custom texture pack at 128x128 plus allsorts of other mods. The modding community is massive and you wouldn't believe what they have done with it.

Needless to say my friends we're all like lol

It's good but i would never go so far as to say addictive. But that's just me and no game is in the "addiction" class. It's still damn good for passing time and very fun :)

I find that I'm very much in love with this game. I'm actively playing on a SMP PVP server where I have basic admin privileges. Co-own a store with a friend that operates outside the server's main economy plugin since they only deal with metal ores and coal. Also enjoy working on massive scale projects.
