    Windows 7 7201 and Punkbusters

Wonder if anyone has tried to play CoD 4 or CoD 5 World at War using this new leaked build?

Does Punkbusters behave itself and not kick you; as is the case in build 7100?

Would be most greatful to find out...

PS - build 7137 kicks, and i've not tried build 7127.

Lucifer I play both games on a daily bases, every build beyond 7127 gets me pb kicked playing both games, I'd say you are safe to install 7127 and wait on the RTM, thats when pb will actually support windows 7.

Hey that's cool -finally some1 has answered what I think is one of the most important questions about the Windows 7 platform .

Shame really, as build 7100 is slower than 7137 et al and I don't feel like using them even though it means not playing 2 of my most favourite games.

Let's hope Punkbusters does finally support the final build, because if they don't...there's gonna be hell to pay for sure!!!

Lucifer, sorry I missed this thread.
I have been messing with PB on Windows 7 for a good bit as you can see from the other threads, with 7137 I believe Microsoft added some new API layers causing the kicks so anything above 7137 will kick you, I really need to find that change log showing this again to make sure but RC7100 and 7127 don't have this issue and run great for me. If you want speed and good gaming get your hands on build 7127 and it has been showing that it works the best for gaming on this forum and others.

I'm sure PB will support Win7 on release they would be crazy not to.
Also the games I play using PB is BF2/2142 and COD4/5 so it should be good for you.
    I hope this helps.

    It sure does help!

Shame though, as CoD World at War had me hooked. Gonna try build 7229 to see if that will work with PB - worth a shot I guess
