Setting annoyance; Divinity 2: Ego Draconis

I got this game and simply refuse to play it until I can "max" out the settings. But some smart "donkey" put a graphics limit on this game, now I'm unable to change settings as I see fit.

I'm asking for some fix to give me the ability to change the settings as I see fit. If you try and be smart, don't tell me to "go" with it, or suggest to simply play it. I will refuse the offer, I want to play this game so I can appreciate the visuals.

My rig can handle this game, I'm playing "Two Worlds 2" MAXED out, and the game is smooth and gorgeous.

Help, need I say this, is always appreciated.

    Just GO with it!

    Sorry, couldn't refuse

Seriously though, if the game is just a bargain bin, or a bad port and it doesn't have that many options for switching resolutions, about the only thing you can do is find a way to reprogram it and well... that's just not so easy.

Then again, I don't know that game so I am hoping someone else will chime in soon!

I hope someone can help, I won't go with it, it's pretty ugly on those "recommended" settings... ridiculous.

I'll try an update of the game... hopefully they address the issue.

Hey, isn't this supposed to be the sequel to that gadawful Divine Divinity game (which I enjoyed anyway since archery is a cheap way to coast through the game)? I thought it's a new (modern @ recent) game, they didn't give us any graphics settings? That's... weird. Makes me wonder whether I should bother buying it.

I'd try it out, but my settings are revolting.

I uninstalled the game, I'm not sure about the version that it was. Either It says Version 1.4.910 or 1.4.9.32. Not much difference I assume.
