    Afraid so.

For reasons only known to the ATI driver team, they fixed all the issues only to break them again with later releases which to this day, are still broken
yea that was bad fixing BFBC2 only to break what they fixed when the next catalyst was released and they did that "fix then break BFBC2 pattern" for like 2 or 3 catalyst releases in a row, craziest thing I have seen with drivers and a particular game

it's been running fine on the latest drivers for me..
no consolation, I guess - but have you tried installing the
latest Crossfire profiles, as well as the driver..

    - it's supposed to optimise the GFX card for the game??

I've also been exceptionally lucky in that I've never had any of the usual ATI driver hiccups, no matter the version. I've only noticed that some sets ran the game crisper than others.

Yup the ATI driver team suck not that I give a rats anymore..I just bought 2x460's because I'm on my second 5850 which refuses to play nice with BC2...runs WoW ok but then any card will. Doubt I'll buy ATI again..used to be good but since AMD bought them they have gone downhill driverwise it appears
