3DMark 11 released

Futuremark has released the latest version of what is arguably the most popular 3D and system benchmarking suite on the market. 3DMark 11 is designed to measure the performance of DirectX 11 hardware running on Windows 7 and Windows Vista; it uses a native DirectX 11 engine created in-house by the company. The benchmark includes six new benchmark tests that make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11 including tessellation, compute shaders, and multi-threading. As in previous versions, your PC's performance is determined by the interactions between different hardware components, the operating system, as well as the type and amount of software running. A higher 3DMark score indicates better performance

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to see what kind of upgrade I can get since I have 3DMark Vantage Advanced Edition.

no bubbles underwater? i'm disappoint.

played with basic version. it crashed on cpu and cpu combined tests (black screen) plus it's didn't run full screen..


edit: found the fix on Futuremark forums - unchecked System info under Help.
now it ran through all tests but ended with some systeminfo xml blabla bla error.


overall nothing impressive.

It might be your display driver, it works fine here :)

maybe. display res is 1920x1080 and Basic runs only 1280x720. GPU scaling is enabled in Cat, and it still was running with huge black borders :/
