    Windows 7 build 7229 PunkBuster

It has been just leaked (x86 & x64). Please can someone install it and test if PB works? If it does, I will move from 7201 to 7229

I read a thread in this very forum where the users are claiming it works.

Oh dear, PB just keeps kicking punks even when they are legit. Hail the Punkbuster! (j/k)

    Shame...

I fresh installed 7299 and PB kicks my hairy ass in 0 secs in CoD World at War. Played another server and it worked, but tried another server and busted again after a little longer than before.

    Sucks don't it?

Since this is a leaked build I see PB kicking people for the new API layers that PB doesn't know about.
From what I have seen the RC is one build PB has been working with. The builds 7137 and up to this new leak will not, cause they them self's don't have access to it. We are getting these other builds as leaks from some unknown source (well we know the source). I think that PB has a hard stance against torrents inside their company like 95% of companies, so these builds are not "in house" for them to work with. Which means they wont get the API kicks of the newer build fixed until MS gives them the RTM coded version to fix their software.

This is a stupid question, but how do you know your exact Windows revision number. All I see on mine is the 7100 RC thats stuck to the windows desktop screen. Also I'm assuming that 7200 is for 64bit?

I think when you open a command prompt you will usually be shown the version number at the top. Not sure if it is the same in W7.

7100 is the version number for the RC for both the 32 bit and 64 bit version.

Click start menu and type "winver" and press enter this will give you the information of what build you are using.

And the only stupid question is the one never asked.
