Halo 2 Vista Extremly slow multiplayer

I decided to see if halo 2 vista worked on windows seven because it is obviously designed for vista and not multiple windows oses(if that is a word).

I first tried the single player campaign and beat the whole thing on heroic setting without a problem.

Then I tried the multiplayer and to my surprise, the game ran extremly slow im talking like 5fps slow.

I have the settings for gfx all of the way up which is
    1680X1050X32@60
    Texture detail High
    Anti-Alaising X4

    My system specs are

INTEL D975XBX2 (The bad axe 2)
    Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHZ (Stock)
Intel Geforce 8800GTS 512MB (fanspeed overclocked to check if that was problem)
    4GB DDR2 800MHZ RAM (STOCK)
    2X WD50000AAKS RAID 0 (2X500GB=1TB)
Microsoft Windows Seven Build 7000 64 Bit (Codenamed Beta1)

If There is any more information you need to know just ask and i will be happy to tell you.

Thanks a lot for your effort to find a solution for this problem

How good does it play with Anti-Aliasing turned off?

not much better mabye from 5 fps to like 8 im not really counting, this is just what it feels like. I have played this game maxed out on vista forever this is why the bug is so strange to me.

Disable HDMI feature, or your digital audio option. Leave only Altavoces (Speakers)

people actually play online!? i got the game a while ago, and there were maybe 2 servers. maybe time to reinstall it. i take it single player runs good. it did for me with high settings, and AA on 4X. and my pc is junk compared to urs. (my specs listed below)

try a later build, maybe. 7000 is pretty ancient as far as 7 goes.
