Hi everyone, Deathdread how did you make the game work? my gothic load the menu and crashes when the loading bar is at 3/4.

You can solve the fps issue deleting the gothic3.ttf file on your gothic directory.

    Hello Again, update!

I have worked on it some more awhile ago, and found many issues because the game designers put to much loose code in trying to fix issues. So here is my ideas and known solutions! This is for newest, fresh install!

    1. Update and patch completely to newest version, 1.7.2 I believe!
    2. Disable screen composition in properties option in compatibility mode, enable admin rights. thats all for there!
    3. Get the registry file control mod, Google it and you'll find it, its popular! Run it to replace the current one.
    4. replace with good xp-32 or vista-32 dxdiagn.dll file after getting control over system files. (In SYSWOW 64-bit folder!)
    5. Run game and drop settings down to lowest for test to see if game now works.(Also don't forget to reset before running after all the changes made!!!)

If that does not work, Ill try some more ideas out to help as much as I can!!!

If you feel frustrated about it, call them up and tell them they are g*y du*ch b*gs and hang up, thatll make you feel better!!!

Also to note; My PC died on me 3 months ago, so I cannot work on it until I rebuild!
