Games freezing, sounds looping

    Hey, the driver installer automatically uninstalls the previous audio, video drivers and physix before installing the new version, so this really isn't a problem when updating anymore.

    LE: MajorHarrison, did you revert back to 260.99? I've got an open ticket on Steam with this, I'm sure it would help if they'd have confirmation from more than one person that the driver is indeed the problem.

    I just uninstalled my audio, video and headset drivers and ran the driver sweeper then installed all of the most current drivers like asta suggested. If 266.58 doesnt work then I will try 260.99. I will be back later after testing it out in some games.

    Well Ive been able to play TF2 and Fallout New Vegas for quite a few hours each. I havent crashed yet in TF2 but in Fallout I will crash every few hours. Not nearly as much though, which is great. Im still getting the same nvlddmkm error though. I may try to go back to 260.99 to see if it is any better. Thanks for the help.
