Call of Duty & United Offensive on win 7 64

I have COD and UO expansion installed and didn't have any problems. I did have to use compatibility mode (XP SP3). If/when you do get COD installed you will have to patch to at least 1.4 before you can install UO (I have 1.5 installed). What issues are you having installing?

I might have to try it again but, IIRC, it mentioned something about a 16bit that was not compatible and did not proceed from there.

I am going to try to run the installation on Compatibility mode from scratch instead of Run as admin to see if that helps.

I tried it early last year, and iirc the AI was messed up for my on 7 x64. My squadmates wouldn't advanced at some parts and I'd need to re-load which would sometimes fix it.

It still makes me laugh the way the AI walks on these games but it brought back good memories playing it again.

Yea, me too, lol. Still a great game for it's age. The first Call of Duty blew me away when I played it for the first time when it was released.

Agreed! Along with COD2 they were both great LONG campaigns and the UO expansion was just icing.

So, there is a Major Sheppard and a Captain Price in the first installment... and the most peculiar thing is that Cpt. Price looks like the Cpt. Price does on MW2... shouldn't he be a little older by now? or even dead?

Major Sheppard is now a General so that makes a little sense, even though, the General Sheppard of MW2 looked a little young as well.

The only thing that I hated then and it has not changed even now are the parts where you are having to fight "Bosses"... so to speak

Can't be sure about CoD but CoD4 runs great on 7x64. Recomend to run the installer as admin to c:\Games
