    Directx 9 problem

    Hello there.

I've reinstalled Windows 7 a little while ago, and since then, I have some problems running games using DX9.

I did install the latest Directx (this one, and I tried this one too).

I didn't have any problems before reinstalling windows.

I have a Mobility Radeon HD 4500, and I'm using a laptop that supposedly blocks the drivers from installing... or something like that. So I downloaded the drivers here, and installed it successfully.

Now, my problem, as I stated before, is that I can't run games which use Directx 9.
I don't have any problems with Dx7 (with the Final Burn Alpha emulator), or Dx10 (with Pcsx2 emulator), but everything using Dx9 won't run. I don't get any error message either, just the "... has stopped working".

Any ideas on how to fix it?

try downloading from the official site here:
    ATI Mobility Radeon

uninstall the driver you've installed before and than re-install the DX9 (from the 2nd link you posted) and install driver after downloading from the link. Also restart computer after uninstalling ATI drivers than again after installing new drivers :)
