Wnidows 7 and GTA resolution HELP. SERIOS PROBLEM!

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Geforce 9800 GTX +
I want to run SAMP in 1024x768 resolution for the simple reason of the "font" that i get - Its perfect.

However i'm having difficulties:

Basically my desktop resolution needs to be the same resolution as my ingame resolution or else i get black thick borders on either side of the 'game'. Literally 3 inches (roughly) on either side. So basically how would i get a resolution of 1024x768 INGAME with a desktop resolution of 1360x768.

Please note: I CAN set my desktop resolution to 1024x768 but it looks really shit (quality wise) and then ingame it works absolutely perfect.

If desktop reslotion differs from GTA to desktop = Black borders on either side of game

If desktop res the same as ingame res = Full screen picture but quality difference from ingame / desktop

If desktop is 1024x768 and ingame 1024x768= Desktop looks shit, ingame looks amazing (What i want, but also want desktop to look good on 1024x768).

I have the latest nvidia geforce drivers.

See if this helps....

Full Screen Issues? Again, some games, like Half-Life2 EP2, have options to either run the game in full screen or Windowed mode. If you’re having issues with a game not running in full screen, you might want to check for this setting under video settings.
