GTA IV on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Hi, I was installed GTA IV on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. My specs are:
- AMD Phenom II X2 550 processor, 3.1 GHz
- 2 GB RAM DDR 3 1600 Patriot
- ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series, 512 DDR 3
- Motherboard> Muscle Power 770 AM3 DDR 3
When I play it, the game didn't run smoothly. Need a help

Windows 10 Pro x64, Arch Linux

Your video card is below the requirements for GTA4
It needs 800-1200MB of video memory to run properly, yours only has 512MB

Add more RAM, GTA4 is a memory hog it usually uses 1.7GB

Also, you would definetly need a beefier CPU.

GTA IV is more of a CPU intensive game than graphics, although a good graphics card helps, especially as Yowan just stated but it does need a beefy CPU as well, especially if you are trying to play the game on highest settings.

For the highest possible settings, you will need either a top Nvidia card (GTX 480 or 580) or an ATI card with 2GB.

Your only option is to lower all the details to low, reduce draw distance etc disable shadows and what not.
