    Icons in Game folder problem

So when i install a game and the icon doesnt appear in the Game section like Braid, i would normally in Vista just copy a shortcut icon from the desktop to the folder after i change the icon to one of my choice (i do this because the default icons are low res), But im getting this strange problem in win7. I change teh icon fine by going into properties of the shortcut, it saves and all is well. But when i copy it to the Games folder it changes back to the default icon...

Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a fix?

Oh and i posted here and not in gaming because it isnt really related to games, just icons..

    thanks

You could build a new GDF for the game, that would allow you to use your custom icon. Game Explorer Builder for Windows Vista

it seems to be some kind of bug in windows7. It reverts back to the old icon when dragging into the folder, i dont really want to mess with 3rd party apps also.

i think i'll just wait till things get sorted.
